Marianne Trudel et Karen Young – Portraits: Chansons de Joni Mitchell

Un piano, une voix : c’est tout ce dont elles ont besoin pour peindre un portrait intime et émouvant de l’oeuvre de la canadienne Joni Mitchell.  Avec finesse et originalité, Trudel et Young revisitent le répertoire de la chanteuse en déployant une riche palette de nuances tantôt claires, tantôt feutrées, toujours jazz.  Pour L’OFF Jazz, elles dévoileront quelques extraits exclusifs ! // A piano and a voice: that is all they need to paint an intimate and moving portrait of the great Canadian artist, Joni Mitchell. With finesse and originality, Trudel and Young revisit the singer’s repertoire by deploying a rich palette of nuances, sometimes clear, sometimes shrouded, and yet always jazz.
